International Diabetes Center Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Glucose Algorithm

With the growing worldwide diabetes epidemic, the management of individuals with Type 2 diabetes (T2D) will, out of necessity, be undertaken more by primarycare health providers and less by subspecialist diabetologists. To overcome the barriers to effective management of T2D, we will need to address the issue of clinical inertia by providing healthcare professionals with pragmatic evidence-based algorithms.
