Abstract
Patient-Reported Outcomes in Biologic Therapy for Rheumatoid Arthritis
Author(s): Mahi Zaman*Patient-reported outcomes (PROs) are crucial in evaluating the effectiveness of treatments for rheumatoid arthritis (RA), especially with the advent of biologic therapies. These outcomes provide insights into the patient's perspective on their health status, treatment efficacy, and quality of life. This article reviews the role of PROs in assessing the impact of biologic therapies on RA, examining key dimensions such as pain, function, fatigue, and overall health-related quality of life. By analyzing current literature and clinical trials, this review highlights the importance of integrating PROs into routine clinical practice to ensure patient-centered care and optimize treatment strategies.
