Dr. Nazim Nasir completed his MBBS from Aligarh Muslim University in 2005, He was appointed as Chief Medical Officer at RLKC Metro Heart Institute Delhi. Following this, he joined his Master’s in Human Anatomy from Aligarh Muslim University in 2008. He completed his MD thesis on “Effects of stress- induced Depression and antidepressant drugs on the hippocampus of adult albino rats”. The research investigated the effects of stress as a model of depression on neuronal density (specifically in the hippocampus) and its interaction with antidepressant drugs at Aligarh Muslim University. After passing his exam in June 2011 he was appointed to his current role as Assistant Professor in the Department of Anatomy, NIMS Faculty of Medicine at National Institute of Medical Sciences. His current role is varied but primarily involves administrative duties at King Khalid University Abha KSA. He has been appointed as Head of the Department in 2016. He has completed successfully 3 projects at King Khalid University. His current research interests involve neurosciences specifically on neuro-regeneration and improve outcomes in different neuronal patients especially in old age patients. Furthermore, He is interested in evidence synthesis, and continues to maintain more than a passing interest in the brain and neuro-regeneration/neuro-degeneration from my MD work!

He sits on the Clinical Practice Editorial Board Committee.

The journal serves as a gateway into society’s practices and represents scholarly and research standards around the world. Diabetes Research, Clinical trial, epidemiology, pathology, parasitology, microbiology, radiotherapy, neurology, Surgery, skin diseases, immunology, and neurophysiology are a few of the areas of expertise of the Clinical Practice. I sincerely request that all members contribute by sending in their insightful ideas and articles. In all of our endeavors, I look forward to your inspiration, guidance, and constructive criticism.
