Biography
He is a full-time Medical Doctor in Cardiology, Cardiology Department, Hospital "F. Perinei" Altamura (BA) ASL BARI since 05/2017, Chief of the Electrophysiology Unit Cardiology Department, Hospital "F. Perinei" Altamura (BA) ASL BARI. He has completed his PhD Course in Biomolecular, Pharmacological, and Medical Sciences, at the Oncology Department, University of Bari, Italy in 2021. He got a degree from the School of Specialization in Cardiovascular Diseases, University of Bari, Italy in 2014 and achieved a degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2008. He is the Member of ESC Working Groups on Peripheral Circulation, Atherosclerosis and Vascular Biology, and Council on Stroke, member of the ESC Working Group on Acute Cardiac Care (2012-2016), member of the directive nucleus of Hypertension, Prevention and Rehabilitation Group of the Italian Society of Cardiology (2013-2020). He also acted as vice-coordinator Hypertension, Prevention, and Rehabilitation Group of the Italian Society of Cardiology (2019-2020). He got a fellowship to ANMCO in 2019 and in 2021, he joined as a member of the Apulia regional directive nucleus ANMCO. He is also the co-chairman of Young Area of the ANMCO since 2022. He is the author of 133 full articles in International Scientific Journals; 300 abstracts published in International Journals; 5 chapters of a scientific book. His publications are related to the evaluation of the impact of endothelial function on the development of atherosclerosis and overall cardiovascular risk of patients with atherosclerosis; identification of biomarkers of early onset of atherosclerosis and atherosclerotic plaque destabilization; cardiovascular pharmacology; heart failure prognosis and the impact of congestion evaluation in the overall assessment and prognosis of patients with heart failure. He is acted on the editorial Board of International Journals such as Biomolecules; Cardiology And Therapy (Springer); Frontiers In Cardiovascular Medicine; International Journal Of Clinical Practice; World Journal of Clinical Cases; World Journal of Gastrointestinal Pharmacology and Therapeutics and editor-in-chief in Asian Journal of Cardiology Research; Journal of Sleep Disorders and Management; Cardiovascular & Hematological Disorders - Drug Targets. He is the winner of “10 best abstracts” in the 77th National Congress Italian Society of Cardiology2016, Rome Cavalieri Hotel, Roma, Italy. He has published nearly 219 articles.
