Antirheumatic Drugs

 An antirheumatic is any medicine used to treat rheumatism. Antirheumatics can minimize or avoid joint damage linked to inflammatory joint disorders. Antirheumatics are used to alleviate discomfort and rigidity in the treatment of rheumatic illnesses. The most common DMARDs used to treat RA include: Hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil), Leflunomide (Arava), methotrexate (Trexall), Sulfasalazine (Azulfidine), Minocycline.
