Chemoprevention

The use of synthetic, natural or biological agents in chronic administration is to reduce or delay the incidence of a malignant tumor. Studies of breast, prostate and colon cancer have shown the potential value of this approach. The development of new chemical prevention agents has significantly changed in the past decade and now involves a broad mechanical preclinical evaluation of agents prior to the establishment of clinical trials and a focus on defining biomarkers of action, which can act as early efficacy predictors. Journal of Chemoprevention provides knowledge about of development in gastrointestinal cancer, Gastric Cancer Journal, Cancer Research Medical Journal, Breast Cancer Advances, European Cancer Journal.
