 The medical specialty which offers a problem-solving technique and genetic therapy for the individuals and their families who are at the risk of the conditions of genetic basis is known as Clinical Genetics. Genetic defects and syndromes can affect any body arrangement and any age group. The goal of Clinical Genetics is to help those affected with genetic disorders in order to survive and reproduce as normally as possible. The various genetic disorders include Chromosomal abnormalities, single gene disorders such as cystic fibrosis, Huntington's disease, sickle cell disease and muscular dystrophy. And also, Familial cancer and cancer-prone syndromes. Birth genetic defects such as neural tube defects, palate and cleft lip. Additionally, huge number of persons with birth defects and disabilities are denoted and examined for hereditary features.
