Criminology

Criminology is the scientific study of the criminal justice and law enforcement frameworks. A person who looks for a criminal justice career would usually try to obtain a degree in criminology initially. Although criminology and criminal justice are definitely related fields, they are not similar. Criminology is a branch of sociology, which has in turn been practiced for decades in one context or another. Criminologists are committed to not only studying the causes of crime but also the social implications. Many of the different fields covered by criminology include Crime Rate, Place of Crimes, Causes of Crimes, Patterns of Crimes, Social and Individual Crime Reactions, Individual Crime Reactions and Governmental Crime Reactions.
