Dental Cavities
A cavity, also known as tooth decay, is a hole forming within your tooth. Cavities start small, and when left unchecked, slowly grow bigger. Because many cavities do not initially cause pain, it can be difficult to realize that there is a problem. Regular dental appointments allow early detection of tooth decay. Cavities and tooth decay are some of the world's most prevalent
health problems. Anyone with teeth can develop cavities, even infants. It might come as a shock to find out you have a cavity. This is especially valid if you believe you have a good routine for oral hygiene. Even if your dentist delivers this news, however, there are ways to heal a cavity and avoid the creation of new ones.
