Muscle Pain
Due to overuse or minor injuries the muscles often cause
inflammation or minor injuries in the soft
tissues of the body causing
muscle pain which in medical terms is known as myalgia. It can be caused by several conditions including aches, pains and influenza. It can happen in any single muscle which is caused usually by overuse or minor injury or can be spread to various muscles. Other factors that can cause
muscle pain include muscle rupture, medication side effects, muscle abscess, dermatomyositis, ciguatera poisoning, tension and viral infection. It can be reduced by gentle stretching, rest, ice, muscle massage, heat, or over the counter medicines.
