Open Access Journals

Open Access (OA) is a set of standards and a collection of activities that share work results digitally, free of cost or other obstacles to entry. Through applying an unrestricted license for copyright, obstacles to copying or reusing are often minimized or eliminated by explicitly defined or free online access. The open access movement focuses primarily on "peer reviewed research literature." Historically this has focused mainly on academic journals based on print. While traditional non-open access journals bear the expense of publication by access tolls such as premiums, web permits, or pay-per - view fees, open access journals are distinguished by financing mechanisms that do not allow the reader to pay to read the material of the journal. Open access to any published papers output can be applied, including peer-reviewed and peer-reviewed journal articles , conference articles, theses, book chapters, and monographs.
