Working Memory In Children

 Working memory is a capability where we can work with information. It helps us to learn, and even to perform basic tasks. Most children with differences in learning and thinking have trouble with that vital function. This is particularly true in children with difficulties with executive control and ADHD. Working memory is an cognitive function of the brain. It's the ability to hold on to new information so that we can turn around and somehow use it. Functional memory makes it possible for us to retain knowledge without losing track of what we do. Working memory allows your child to hold on to the numbers the teacher has called out and to view them. It also helps her know what the 21 and 13 total is, so she can take away 6.By the next class, or even 10 minutes later, your child might not remember any of those numbers. And it's Okay. Working memory has done its short-term job and helped her to deal with the task in hand
